Re: silence is beautiful anytime--0-if I could only stop. Stop...breathe softly

Thank you so much my Dear US Brother!I wrote this a long time ago-now-it's for you.

                        DIVINE SLEEP

Oh-Divine sleep-like a stone-woulds't that I could turn you on-for time unknown!

No-'tis not death I'm seeking-just a gentle slumbering---

with head lay down upon my pillow-surely no-one else would mind---

if I just lay there-quiet-sleeping-to awaken at my own time?

Could I not be like the tortoise-hybernate until the Spring?

Is there not a time for resting-only that which death do bring?

Surely-God-in all His wisdom-could have made us with a switch?

My Heart goes out to you Neil--and my Prayers are with you.God Bless you.Shalom from your UK Sis.x

Just turn off-when all our troubles-seem to reach that mountai pitch!

Chris
Well, I dropped into your 'garden of haiku', as it were, and I am awed by their beauty, and also at your creative energy...
