Bono just pissed me off...off on one of my rants
I don't know about that side of the politics! I just know you should look at yourself in the mirror before you start criticising somebody else and I guess it goes the same for countries!

I heard Bono make pretty much the same comment on Oprah
and she asked him to explain what he meant. He said the "real America" which he calls "the ordinary citizens" donate to charity, but the Bush administration doesn't.

It's true -- we already prop up the whole freakin' world, but the fact is, when you give people things, they resent you. When they work for it, they tend to appreciate it.

I couldn't agree more! There simply is no other country, my own included, that has given and continues to give so much to so many all over the world! It's a little late, so I'm not gonna dig out the stats, but it doesn't matter - and if Bono doesn't know that, he's an idiot...
