Well a least you're able to maintain a sense of humour about it all. A friend of mine - at age 51 - had a hip replacement and recovered quite quickly. She was (and still is) delighted to be pain-free. Best of luck with it all....

LadyCeeMarie, What a difference the titanium joint will make in relief from the pain. Sorry you have to go through the surgery to get to that pain-free stage but I'll bet it will be worth it. The second part of your post cracked me up. I love your sense of humor. LOL

Thank you so much for your prayers! I figure I've been thru brain surgery then breast cancer surgery, what's a hip replacement (besides a lot of pain!)?????? It is what it is. I'm just going to get it taken care of and out of the way before the next calamity, whatever that may be, has a chance to arise. I'm just adding to my body scar count, like notches in my bedframe? The scars way outnumber the notches, to my disappointment!!

I don't like strong pain killers with ALL my other meds I take; it was an option, but it will only get worse. It's already outgrown the naproxin I take. HA! I gave the picture a new image size. Go back and look. THIS time you can't miss it! Thanks for your good luck message!!

Wow, my prayers are with you ... chronic pain is a bitch ....
not that I have first hand experience, but I have family who take pills daily to deal with it. Yeah, I know...anyway. Good luck with this. I'm going to go back and see if I can find the penis ... must be looking in the wrong place?
