Kolekshuns, I'd heard this and after trying it, I believe it..and it's a
lot easier on the stomach...

...(some cough "syrups" have more alcohol in them than a lot of the cordials available)....

Honey is good for so many ailments-in fact-I know of a mother-who kept her
new born babe alive-for a fair time-on Honey-until he was able to adjust to more regular feeding requirements! Years ago-as soon as we had a cold/coff etc.we were given a 'hot toddy'!(Whiskey/sugar/honey)-Ugh-to the whisky! But the honey was positive! Chris.

I used honey on a bad burn the other day and it was completely healed the
next day without blistering...I had a blister the day before! It was better than ice and aloe vera...honey is amazing!

Re: It's great. I drink herbal tea every night with honey.............
I especially like it in the winter time. If you have a cold, about 1/4 teaspoon
of cayenne pepper and 2 teaspoons of lemon juice added to the tea and honey
will help as well. I use it all the time. The cayenne pepper must be capsicum, not
plain old red pepper. The regular red pepper will irritate your stomach and the
cayenne wont. It is a deeper red than the department store brand. The best
place to find it is at a health food store. You can also take it in capsule form.
great for colds and high blood pressure. Thanks for the visit.

Re: absolutely. That's what we need more of..............
Did you hear about all the drugs being found in city water systems
because Americans are taking too many drugs and the body only
uses so much and the rest is expelled from the body and flushed
into the water system through the toilets? We need to get away
from so many drugs. I know God did not make us to be addicted
to drugs. We need to change our lifestyles. Thanks for the visit!

4 Packs a Day and Wild Turkey.......
....wait a minute! Curing the cough...yeah,
that's what we were talking about. Did you call me "Honey"?
Just teasing...
.... My mother used honey all the time for our little coughs
when my siblings and I were tiny people. (No, I don't smoke)

Did you know that in India that we mix honey with Tulsi leaves and it works wonders in cough treatment. I don't know the exact translation of Tulsi, but I'll find out and let you know.
