RSM, you are your own enemy in this
McCain is going to loose because too many Republicans feel like you do and just are unable to fully support the guy. While with the Democrats, which ever one gets the final nod, will end up with full support from their party. Of course either one of them is gonna make a far better leader than Bush and that is what I think is bothering your little grand old club the most. Bush has screwed up on just about every possible level and you are all in such denial over it. If the Dems win this one (Which they most likely will) and actually turn it all around (Which is most likely what will happen), then it will make Bush look all the more a looser.
You really need to just face reality and see that your side has failed to do anything of value for this country over the last eight years and that this country is ready of real change that your party cannot and is not even willing to try to give.

Re: RSM, you are gonna cry like a baby then come November
If you are looking for someone to work for the greater good of the country then you have the wrong election and wrong year for that. All that you and other liberals can do is bash Bush all day and not realize that your candaidates who you so clearly support are worthless. Hillary has already stated that if Iran does womething "foolish" then she will nuke them. Now this has not happened with any Republican president ever. So how do you think her dumbass thought process will help? Then you have the complete clueless candidate Obama who can not even tell you what he thinks about the capital gains tax, he can just repeat "hope and change" about 100 times. So the worthless Dems will get us out of Iraq. Then what? They do not even have a lcue about what is going on there. They just put their finger in the wind of opinion then go with it.
Seems like you are hedging your bets there with your last sentence. Thought you were so pro-Obama. Give me a break. Unfortunately we will be left with the liberal McCain for president. Why is he even in MY party?

McCain just does not have what it takes to be win this election. We need someone who will actually start to work for the greater good of the country and not someone who will follow in Bush's foot steps and do nothing.
There is no doubt in my mind that once things settle down and a solid candidate is picked for the Democrats, you will see a land slide victory for that person come November.

Re: Again, I feel I am being forced to choose the
Excellent reply vickip! You have enough common sense to realize that the Democrat Party has absolutley nothing to offer, as usual. Three evils? I am having to be forced to vote for McCain, a liberal. My party will nominate a liberal for president. Imagine how I feel!
As for Kooka's post here, I will save this in order to repost it after the election just to show how stupid of a prediction this was. Thanks Kooka for this softball down the middle of the plate!

Again, I feel I am being forced to choose the
least of three evils. Until the dems come up with more solution than complaining about the war in Iraq, I'm afraid we will endure another four years of the republican party. Good post.

I disagree with one thing:
I don't believe that the country will be any different if Hillary gets into office, either.
