Can't that be so frustrating though? Sometimes I wish I knew how someone would interpret what I'll say before I say it, so I can revise it according to their perception. If only people could hear past what you say and see what it is that you mean.

I absolutely agree with you. When one writes, one has to understand that whoever reads what we wrote, with the exception of a chosen few, will interpret our words according to their experiences. We might not like their interpretation, but we must keep in mind that they do not mean to offend us. It is hard for some to get this, and they take it very personally. Something like that just recently happened to me with a comment I made on a poem and out of nowhere this "dear friend" snapped at me and proceeded to ignore me. This was someone I thought was above such pettiness, and who I greatly admired. It is regretable but it is what it is. Great post :-)
