Re: Soul_Builder101
It is true that cities are not a good thing in the Native way of thinking..But there is a certian amount of need for there to be a small group..I believe (grew up with) the thought that God/Creator/Wakan Tanka is all around..you'll find him when you need him in nature or your animal friend..always listening and always ready to do what can be done..having the "tribal experiance" as you call it is a great experiance to have..kinda gives you mulitple perspectives on things..which a great way to work out things.. The quote on religon you asked I have finnally thought of it.."The Creator of us has roots and thoughts in many places. Nature is among the most important as she is the one to keep us alive and believeing. Find the balance of heart and mind starting with watching the other speices of life go about their daily routines without judgment of others. When we leave there will be time enough for judgement, knowing you lived your life well for every living thing around."

I have read some on this topic and I am convinced that cities are abominations. It seems that God is experienced in nature and the natural environment. This is my experience and from my reading, it seems to be tribal experience!

Gudday
It's a tragedy that nice sentiments like this have no influence over the ways of man. They say 'The pen is mightier than the sword', but I don't believe them...

Palimaya Kola Marion! LOvely and so deep, reminders of what may be lost.U

are one of those who carry the torch of wisdom, wosdom for all creatures who share our generous Earthly home, bestowed on us COLLECTIVELY (not individually) by Great Spirit. Glad too you included a Woamn, Giver of the the Pipe. I lift up these lines because they give me great solace:

"I seek strength, not to be greater than my brother,
but to fight my greatest enemy - myself."

Glory to Jesus and Father who made the Episcopal Church recognize this beautiful wosdom.NEIL
