You are a great writer, very talented. I am sorry you are having trouble finding a suitable place, but you will and everything will be OK, I wish you all the luck in the world. Take care of you

kneeling buses
I don't use them because my foot operations are invisible. When a person with a cane asks for the kneeling steps, I follow them down them. I avoid bus transfer tickets because the drivers on the two routes involved don't argee on the zone. I'm a diabetic with neuropathy in my fingers. I avoid fumbling with change. I wish people with visible disabilities success in obtaining handicapped access. Take care, and very good luck in finding an apartment. God bless you and keep you.

Re:
Vogue, thank you for your kind offer! I was born in Florida, and it would be wonderful to move back there. But I have deep roots in this area, and I just can't tear myself away.

I don't know where you would like to move to, but I am very impressed by the way Florida, Miami to be exact, caters to the wheelchair bound. Buses go 'into the knee' if a person in a wheelchair needs to board. Access ramps are everywhere, the curbs have 'dents' and apartment buildings have access as well. So, come keep me company!
