Re: KaBoom62
That makes me feel bad about your brother... Considering all the hate during war it is amazing that US and Japan talk to each other at all! But there are lots of people like me, even married to Japanese! None of this would have been possible only a short fifty years ago....imagine! It sends chills down my spine. Even though we are always pointing out the differences, we humans really are alot alike, all over the world, that is a treasure that I hold dear, and what I have gleaned from living serveral places.

I really like those carp! I have seen them before, some people fly them from the masts of their boats here - and now I even know their proper name - koinobori, lol.
And don't be discouraged by the rejections - I understand it happens to everyone. At least you have stuff to send out, unlike me...

Thank you so much for sharing everything.
It's all so fascinating. I would like to go on tour myself.

When you've had rejection you have become a writer luv, and you are a good one. I enjoy your posts about customs of Japan, you paint a happy picture of a place that I never felt happy about. My oldest brother Mike was killed fighting the Japanese in the Himalayas and that took a long time to get used to. Now, because of your post, I feel happier about Japan. It's time I matured eh luv? lol

Patience
There is someone out there who's clever enough to realize the true value of your work. It might take a few rejections, but you'll find that special acceptance eventually!
Loved the pictures, as usual

My remedy to rejection is to turn to blogit, post something people DO actually read and then the world isn't so bleak anymore. After a while I'm ready to send my work out again. Thanks for reading my piece on the nightclub. Go clubbing, you are never too old.
