This poem is a reflection of your generous nature... and I hope you are right. I pray that they can be reborn into kinder, better, souls... you just don't know how I wish you are correct in assuming this individual has become different. Of course it depends on the crime and how it was committed, but in my experience, people rarely change their basic personality. they can "repent", feel sorry for what they have done, but faced with the same circunstances... they would do it all over again ( maybe better so they can avoid getting caught) . Sociopathic personalities can train themselves to behave differently, but what they are, their core...unfortunately remains the same and its always ready to come out again. Sorry if I sound cynical, is just that I have worked in a field that brought me in contact with these cases all the time. Again, I hope I am wrong. :-)Beautiful poem

quietguy--well done--good to read this! Positive changes can happen for

everyone deserves a second chance in life my dear....forgiveness is meant for those who repent and recognize their sins. If God can forgive...why cant we....
