Oh yes
this past weekend I took time to be lazy and just sleep. I did not know I was that exhausted!

You're right. I realised after sleeping all that much that I really needed it.

Sounds like the perfect date!
I only sleep a lot when I'm sick.

I decided to indulge yesterday. Husband is diabetic, so he had a sandwich. I felt like ice cream as it was so hot. And, lying low is good. Thanks for the cheering........

Just what a wonderful day ~ Oh, sounds like you did good for yourself Greenfields...

~ You must do this often while the hubbub is shaking your realm ~ your sacred turf.

... and you'll stay cooler in the heat...yum ice cream

Four hours of deep sleep is indeed a record. Sometimes, I take a cat nap, as it's called, for 45 minutes and I feel great. However, I am afraid my body asks for more sleep and I don't mind giving in to that, I must say.

Aww Greenfields, how I would like to do that, just sleep. For a month now, I haven't slept more than four or five hours. But did you know that I feel quite refreshed even after 4 hrs of deep sleep.

So true about the body and rest. I realised that after taking the drugs I wasn't getting enough rest - and they do tranquilise me. I was running around in the heat and very surprised that I was SOOOOOO tired and sleepy. Although I know that in mind, sometimes the 'old me' comes back and I become obsessed by being active. Mistake, mistake. Cheers.

you are so right. We do have a good relationship. It's had it's ups and downs but we are in a great place now. Calm is a good place to be. As for the cook, its very nice to have one. I am talented in the kitchen, but like having him around too. Shall I blog you a cook?

Sounds like you have a good life and a tender relationship with your husband. As far as sleeping goes - I've been known to sleep the day away. Sometimes your body just tells you to do that....

So simple........and calming....it sounds like you and your husband have a good relationship. (I wish I had a cook.) I'm not very talented in the kitchen.
