Yes, at this point
I'm surprised he even remembers what his own name is.

Yes, I do know this, but thanks for reminding me about it. I also think Indians (and other people in the world) tend to over react to comments like this, knowing what Bush is like. We also need to keep it in perspective. Yes?

Wow! What a response. I had not expected anything like this. But, thanks. Having lived in the US for 14 years, I know that the CIC does not represent the views of the American people. I appreciate your efforts. I also know that we have a lot to learn from each other. On the other hand, we have eqaully crazy people in India (or for that matter anywhere in the world) that take evrything so personally. I will pot you if I know of Yelixir selling for less than you know about. Cheers.

Hi Greenfields,
Well, the Indian population is not alone... quite a few of us in the U.S. are mad at Bush too.
He doesn't know what he's talking about, not only about the food crisis, but about anything else. I will be so happy when he is finally out of office.

Oh behalf of the USA ...
Dear Fellow Poet in India
On behalf of the population of the USA who are not as ignorant as the administration that seems to think remarks as you have brought attention to be sensible, I apologize. That administration embarrasses me, and more people would be embarrassed if only they understood what it is the rest of the world hears them saying, and how absolutely stupid it makes us look!
I am so very sorry, you must understand one thing about the American political engine, in brief; IT IS A CIRCUS! I have come to be very interested in the political process and frankly it frightens me, only because it costs so much money to get anyone elected in this county, and my fear is that our core values get lost in the actual process of getting someone into office. The masses here in America have taken the position that their opinion really does not matter, and to a large degree this is true. I have some hope that the individual opinion, or the voice of the individual may grow in strength once more as a result of social space such as this, as well as others.
Places where people are putting ideas out there such as You Tube, and other Blogs, present a place where the individual can assert a political opinion without millions of dollars behind them. In most cases the fat cats in DC just take those good ideas and turn them into some agenda that they could have never imagined in the first place, but slowly some good ideas (even if they are twisted) are seeping back into our government. It will take a long time to undo the systems that have take the voice of intelligent thought out of the government of the United States. It would appear that we are out of touch with the global reality, but that is just the “figureheads” and do not be discouraged, not all Americans are so numb to what the rest of the world is saying or feeling.
Regarding the food shortages, I can not imagine why you should have this problem in India, it is my belief that you have a climate to grow the Morangia leaf, which is a crop that should provide more than ample revenue and nutrition for the population of your Nation. I recently found a grower there in India of this crop, and he was able to provide this product to me for 10% of what I can buy it for in the USA. I am increasingly more and more impressed with the potential of this crop for its ability to provide nutrition and feel its properties make it the ideal crop to replace more or less 5-6 bulk foods that cost much more to ship and grow, and cultivate.
Those crops include carrots, which this crop ca provide 4 times more the Vitamin A, Bananas, (short in supply at the moment) which this crop can provide 15 times more the potassium, oranges (always a delight but costly and risky to grow) which this crop has ½ times more the Vitamin C, and last but not least MILK and dairy products in general (not popular in India) But VERY BIG HERE and in EUROPE, which this crop has more than 17 times more the calcium!
Now then, I honestly have no idea why your nation should have a shortage when you have 5 foods in one crop that grows so GREAT in your climate, the only question I have is WHY George Bush and his administration does not pay farmers to grow that crop, and hire people from India to teach us more about the cultivation of one crop to improve the health and wellness of our population so that we might begin to have a population ALERT enough to compete with yours in some of the jobs that are being outsourced to India at the moment!
As stated, I have no idea why Bush and his administration are so blind, and don’t understand that you get out of the world what you put into it, and right now it is clear to me that the world is very angry with us in the USA!
In closing, let me just say that I admire anyone that takes a chance at building a friendship with an American and working past the insane rhetoric we have bought into the last 8 years!
If you happen to run across a supply of Yelixir for less than 15.00 US dollars for, 5pounds including shipping please make me aware of it RIGHT AWAY!
Also if you happen to have any interest in any goods here in the USA, please let me know I am a novice at global trade but I would welcome the chance to practice! It will take a lot of people building new bridges just like this to fix what that administration has done to our country- I am willing to try if you are!©
Let us be friends!
Take care,
Your American Friend
