I am catching up
I just read the latest two... I got an image of an infinity of lucy's leaping in the air after an infinity of swifts till the EoT. I think my mind started wandering somewhere in there and suddenly I was on a path that led in any direction, actually it is very relaxing if I just space out and read..

An interesting thought...
...just occurred to me, if Lucy wasn't jumping and yet the bird ended up in her mouth, somewhere, something had to shift it's relative position in time and space for the cat to meet the bird.
Maybe the universe shifted to accommodate Lucy. The tail wagging the dog, so to speak.

While I read this, Pitiful is trying desparately to illustrate Lucy leaping for the swifts. She is leaping from room to room, window to deck door wanting out because the mourning dove has begun its calls and Pitiful wants one badly.
