Re: I totally agree ... thank God, or whomever you feel spiritually blessed by,

Thanks for the visit and the comments.  There is always someone worse off

Look at all those people who just went through disaster and their own leaders

wont let anyone in to help.  To God be the glory for the things he's done in

my life.  Happy Mothers Day to you too.

I totally agree ... thank God, or whomever you feel spiritually blessed by,
rather than find all that is wrong in your life.  I think back to the recent past, and the two years I spent with someone who was NEVER thankful for their blessings, not ever.  I look at her writings now and nothing has really changed.  I figure if you are able to walk, talk, listen, HEAR, love, dance, laugh, cry, feel, taste, comprehend what you read and see ... you should count yourself among the lucky ones - and maybe look around at those who are unable to do even half those things.  I will never forget watching Kirk Douglas on Larry King after his stroke - his speech so impeded I could barely understand him - do you know what he was saying?  There's always someone who has it worse, I'm doing fine.  Wow, that had a lasting impression on me.  It's true.  God must be so unhappy sometimes when he sees the lack of appreciation for his gifts.  Happy mother's day ... very thoughtful blog!   Happy Mother's Day!
