I teach 8th grade. . .you are so right
It is so frustrating for me that people think we have it so easy. I think the main problem is ignorance. But think about it: if you have one teenager driving you crazy and not doing his homework, how does it feel for a teacher who has 150? 30 students to a classroom and objectives to teach. I regularly stay at school until 5 or 6 at night, drive an hour home, deal with my 6 year old and my husband and my pets and laundry or shopping, try to do a little schoolwork, and get up at 4:30 in the morning to do it all again. And by the way, those 30 students don't always want to learn and they don't always listen respectfully while I attempt to teach. Thanks for posting this!
