heard of window treatments, sorry I live in another world! I'm trying to think if I've ever understood the phrase window treatments and forgot.... but search as I may my memory, there is no trace of it. Thanks for the enlightenment!

Window treatments, blinds, drapes, curtains, shutters, etc.

If one has a blind window, it needs treatment. Treatments involve fabric that exposes the backside, X-rays, medications, prescriptions, rehabilitation, curtains around one's semi-private bed, (how can something or someplace be SEMI- private?) That makes NO sense, let's just shutter off!

I'm so confused I don't know whether I'm coming or going.
