There's another point in all this. The rest of the world has pretty much had it with America. There's an overwhelming feeling, from Jamaica to the Cape of Good Hope, that this is America's chance to get it right and offer some sound leadership.
If the people endorse Bush/McCain it would irrevocably destroy U.S. foreign relations for decades to come...

We've just put up with eight years of Bush and his group doing all they can to ruin our county. McCain clearly looks to be all for continuing what Bush has started. That is scary. We cannot afford even one more year of the Conservatives in power.
I've not seen any evidence to suggest that Obama is as naive and uninformed as you conservatives wish to paint him. From all that I have seen he is much more on the ball and aware of what is really needed than McCain.

Indeed, Obama is frightening . . .
Or, more to the point, it is his hypocrisy and his naive and uninformed ideas that are frightening.

same people as the 5-pointed star thing you mentioned in your religion blog
and of course cons and such will pick up on almost anything
they can get pretty ugly -- historically they have done some ugly things -- thinking of Clinton's impeachment and all the hounding to prosecute him - and it all didn't pan out at all.
that's why I take cons blogs here with a grain of salt.
