Hi Azur yes it is difficult when a loved one dies of cancer
I have about twenty years to go to reach the age my father was when he died. If I reach that age, my son will be twenty five and able to look after himself I think. I hope to see him married before hand though. The Kite Runner is a great book, one of the best books that I have read for ages. He has a real talent for writing and I want to read A thousand Sons.

A very heartfelt waffle Norwood
My father had the same disease as yours, secondaries everywhere before it was diagnosed, but he and my mother had only 24 years. We were there with him right through, and conversations and embraces were shared. Now I am the age he was when he died.

Thanks Taps for postive comment I hope you enjoy it!
This post is probably so long that it has put some of the readers off!

That is why I called it a waffle as I do waffle on!

Thank you for an excellent book review. I'll have to put that on my list of things to read.
