Thanks for letting me know, Sira - Fame at last - even if it is second-hand.  It was so funny at the time as well, Sira.  Ell and I had a helluva job keeping a straight face.

No! No! No!  Yes majroj.  You are getting your facts slightly upside down.  I was checking the nurses' panty lines - that's 'lines' not shines.  OK?

I had to stop by and let you know

I just got through reading your comment on Pat's post--the one about your little granddaughter and the tennis balls. I almost fell out of the chair, I was laughing so hard!

God Damn Balls, indeed

McNab, I thought you were checking the nurses' shoeshines...

Re: John Mcnab, that 20 minutes is for staring down at the floor. Got a mirror?
I even have a magnifying one, majroj.  I use it to look for any odd brain cells that may be trundling about inside my empty head.

You never know, Sira, perhaps one of these days we will be diagnosed and cured as we go about our workaday lives, without going near a doctor.  Then what would I have to write about?  Thank you for the compliment.

Agreed, Pat.   Science really is wonderful - especially medical science.

You're right, majroj.  Kudos to the Doc and the local health board for finding the $70,000.   Mind you, I was looking forward to the 20 minute lie-in - this had nothing to do with his attractive nurse, you understand!

The new technology is great, of course. But your telling of the story was even more amazing!

I'm so happy all went well for you! Fast, effective, and painless--if only all trips to the doc were that way!

Amazing! All fixed and no pre-op dread. That's the way to do it.

You have written such an entertaining piece. You write so well. The way you slip the 'little barbs' and other comments in makes for a fun read. I adored this piece. Now I am leaving holding my excitement in as well to capture the last essence of your entry. sam

All Right Mac!!

That's where modern medicine is working...helping people and not laying them up for weeks.

Kudos to your Doc.
