Can't say they will or should because I write without a gender bias.

I have found many women writers/potesses are open and receptive to new ideas, many times more readily than men. Men have a stronger ego and that sometimes makes them non-receptive. Again, I say this in general terms, because there are men who I simply adore and respect for their depth and humility. Thank you for raising a Q that in my opinion is worth a frank discussion.

Thanks for raising thought-provoking question. I think the world would be sans color and beauty with sex sans pleasure. Another point, even it be momentary - the orgasmic delight - the attraction is so magnetic that we are drawn towards sex again and again. Why? Because, this ecsatasy, if it can be made more lasting. prolonged, a feeling of timelessness and egolessness descends - that is the real pleasure we draw from the act. To my way of thinking, it gives us the glimpse of timelessness that can transmute into our real seeking to the seeking of God. That's why God gave it, that is why it is so precious.

Excellent comment, Callista! One big advantage this lack of desire would produce would be a drastic reduction in crime, especialy sex-related crimes, and child molestation should all but vanish!

well you said just a total lack of pleasure, you didn't say it would be

painful, so i don't think anyone would run away from it, at least not the people wanting children. It would be a totally different world, no pornography, a lot less unwanted children. I doubt there would be rape.

If i am not mistaken and correct me if i am, but i think you have to have a ready to reproduce and willing female in the animal world.

I think god intended it for reproduction purposes, man perverted or corrupted sex because god did make it enjoyable. I think people make more out of sex than is really there, if you are not hot and ready for it others think you are a cold fish or sick. I think even for humans it is part survival of the species because when i was young i was wild about sex, and then after having children less wild, and now that nature says you are done, i could care less if i had sex.

There are so many ways to say i love and care for you, since sex is pleasurable we tend to think it is the only way. When actually sex is sex and love is something totally different.
