I Truly...
enjoyed this piece because it's three ways to look at shadows and light. I think it also depends on how much of a pessimist or optimist the observer is, to decide how the shadow/light falls, don't you think? Awesome poem, thanks!

What a great Straightforward response!
It's a beautiful poem--I like the way you present three voices, three attitudes and therefore ways to see the same image. It really does depend on mood, how one sees the lights and shadows.
