Yes Ash-so very different from when I started out as-"The little woman
behind the kitchen sink"-etc.etc.I am so proud when I see my Sons-both of the married ones take an equally active role on all things within the family-but are very much-independent of what I used to call-"the other half"-it is simply no longer that way! And-this is how it should be!God Bless.Chris.

I think the less conventional (“modern”, as you say) relationships keep us strong and grounded. Roles might be slightly skewed but the partnership is strengthened.
