A hopeful poem :-)  I can't imagine the pain of losing someone to war, or the bravery, the courage it takes to go and fight in one.  Somehow it seems to me that just one day is not enough to remember them, to honor them.  We should keep them in out hearts always, and pray for the ones that fought in the past, for the safe return of those those who are there fighting now, and for the souls of those who are gone now from us,  every day.  God bless them, and you Ash for your beautiful poem

This is the first poem I wrote exactly a year ago...
inspired by friends' encouragement, I kept on writing..to this day, it has served as a constant reminder of Divinity within & all around everyone, and marks a major milestone in my life, bless, Ash

Yes, something to keep close to mind as we remember our loved
ones who have passed on.
