It is so great for your son to be involved in something
like that because you are giving of something so precious that only you can give your time and attention to another being. Chabad are great in initiating things like that. They bring out the best in many people around the world. The Rebbe was truly an amazing person in what he initiated and it is up to those who realise what he was trying to achieve and play their part. We are all responsible for world peace and helping to bring Messiah and everyone Jewish and Non Jewish has their role to play in crossing bridges and barriers between people.

gapcohen, What a wonderful post about a wonderful program. It is a total plus for all concerned and all involved--both the givers and the receivers of the special attention. I just love teens. They have so much potential and so much to give. Even problem teens have that spark within them if they are given a chance to develop it. I salute you and your son.

Mal, I can imagine your sense of pride. Jacob sounds like a remarkable young man. YOU DID GOOD MOM! Sounds like you raised him right.

(Hope your Dr's visit went well.)
