Whacky, long before I ever heard of such a thing as liposuction or cholesterol, my Czechoslovakian grandmother saved and used all of her chicken fat and goose grease for everything imaginable. My mother then followed in her train. We had a chicken yard and a chicken house and lots of fat hens that gove off lots of rendered chicken fat--when they were cooked. As far as I know, none of them had liposuction.
