Give it a couple years
I didn't start telling my mother about boys until I was about 17. Then, she got at least a basic run down of the guy: name, age, and "he's sooo cute!"
It was nothing more than the bare bone facts, but at least it was a start!

It sounds like you had a great weekend. I played soccer for the first time in five years. It's been way to long.

Yeah
I know, those things don't work out very often... But for my friend I hope it does! I thought about posting on it in detail but it all sounded too hokey, I mean with you all not knowing a thing about my friend and all!! Maybe if it works out I'll write a report on it!
FIL is here on his first day with us, such a mild mannered guy, like I said, he'll start his day care tomorrow so I won't have to worry about his lunch for four days. We learned how to give the insulin shots correctly, and how to test his blood sugar level. I think I am quite good at providing my family with healthy meals, so all that is alright. just can't grab a snack lunch when he is here, like I often do when I am on my own. There are lots of fast easy healthy meal ideas in the new cook book I got a couple of months ago! So I don't have to go to any great trouble. Off to read around and comment!

I sure hope that having your FIL living with you turns out to be a wonderful family experience.

Naut. is of course correct but somehow Wiley and I just knew this was what we must do and his illness has only strengthened our love. Thank you for your support through this rotten time and we love you heaps and won't ever forget your support and love

Kaboom
Well, here's it's Sunday morning, I'm on my second cup of coffee and doing a quick bit of Blogit reading, commenting and comment-answering, which I have sadly beglected. But then I will have to be off for an extended workout. I had also planned a long bike ride for today, but the weather is miserable, and I am strictly a fine-weather cyclist, lol. And I shall read your story later as well.
For now, just one observation on the situation with your friend and her long-distance lover: more often than not, these relationships do not work out! The huge success of Kabu-Wiley is definitely the exception, not the rule...
