You know I appreciate this allegory. I have a copy - and have given a copy or two of this book...it's a simple write and it is a allegory on the 'thorn' of Love ~ Just in case you are ever interested, it's a fast read and very interesting: Hannah Hurnard, "Hinds Feet on High Places" written in 1955 (and probably her only 'best' book) --- but I thought of this when I was reading your blog ~

Yes, the imagery is amazing. I see a kind of briar's patch with a soul struggling to get out. (or at least to stay safe and unharmed).
