Re: We must forge ahead and unify..
We most certainly do..hope more & more broad-minded ladies like yourself, Troosh, Maria and others will step forward and make their mark on this world..my mother did decades ago by rallying other women in early India..and I'm forever thankful to that brave lady, may her soul rest in peace! - Ash

Re: Ash..An excellent "World-view" - embracing our differences...
Absolutely, Troosh, we all have big enough hearts for that..it's the false pride / ego that keeps coming in the way..especially when misused / misled by selfish leaders (not all, of course, but a few is enough to make life difficult for everyone)..LIVE, LOVE, & LET LIVE..is the mantra :)! - Ash

Yes. Excellent message. As a partial answer to your question, you might look at my "other" blog: Sanathana Dharma, maintained under name of chitravathi_moon. I've been to India several times. Moon

Humankind has not woven the web of life.
We are but one thread within it.
Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves.
All things are bound together.
All things connect.

Your words carry a great message..reminded me of this man's words too..Awesome write!

You make a great distinction in the last two lines:  "Not just empty tolerance / Certainly not intolerance!!"
