Yes the Kuvazc can be very aggressive..That is one of the reasons why they do so well with the sheep..Protection is their greatest asset..I would be intimidated by a growl from one of those big guys..We can only hope that he rose to the greatness of being a truly awesome Mascot..Hugs..

CUTE CUTE ~ cute awwww ---- I had a Kuvascz doggie once. He was white and so cuddly...grew to be quite a bear size dog. Curly coated white - but it was an odd breed. Understanding they are bred to protect and herd sheep...he became overprotective of 'each' of the family members and then quite neurotic with it and then...aggressive, learned he could intimidate with a 'growl' --- then once came a bite...so off he went ~ A lady took him to a college for Mascot purposes, and I have not heard now if in fact Roscoe continued on...I imagine he did not do well. Poor guy. ~ these little puppies reminded me of him ~
