I agree with you Taps, I don't like biking along roads either but sometimes you have no choice, the trail just end there and you have to continue on your way.

Auslander, that sounds like a fantastic place to bike ride (all except for the road). I never, never was comfortable riding a bike in the same place where cars drive. You just never know if those crazy car drivers are watching what they do. Also, I really don't like to be driving and have to watch out for bike riders. You never know if one might just not be watching out for traffic. My idea of bike riding is the special places made for bikes.

Sounds like you had a great time! Makes my own bike routes sound rather 'pedestrian', if that makes sense, lol...And how'd your exam go? Or should I ask?
