Ash_pradhan, great write and always timely for we are prone to judging others. I am a believer in judging oneself. In doing that, we don't have quite as much tendency to judge others and have a little more tolerence because we see that we ourselves are far from perfect. We can't really judge another anyway because we cannot see the heart, we cannot know the intentions. I like the word "discerning" when it comes to others. It is wise to evaluate others' actions and words so that we can make wise choices. But, that is not the same as judging, which I shy away from.

Vicki, that saying is about humility, which is a great virtue...but the point I'm trying to make is that being judgmental is irrational, as there r myriads of reasons why our so called judgment could be incorrect..it takes maturity to know that..I'm glad though that u've started communicating with me more freely, as I think you too are wise, besides being gorgeous (now this is the flirtatious part of me that those who know me understand :)) - Ash

Right on! This is so very well written..I agree to judge someone without knowing who they truly are is not a very wise thing...Even then some of us need to watch what we say...Sometimes no matter what we do we can still stick our foot in our mouths...Or dig our self a deeper hole..Bravo on this most excellent write

Ash! What a prodigious thought to live by whole-heartedly! It is such a pity that everyone is raised with a set of prejudices unbeknownst to them, and the only ones who seem to let go of prejudice are the ones who realize it in themselves first. Thank you for such a marvelous thought!
