Wow, sounds like a fun trip! And did you actually get to
drive that R8, or did your car-crazy son? Who shows excellent taste in his choice of car - but I hope he's planning to be either a dentist or a corporate lawyer, with tastes like that...

Fascinating. To me the most interesting part is the trip on the seldge on top of a glacier. Must have been breathtaking. I do love your last sentence. Welcome back to earth.
