Re:
Thanks BC-A, each day is filled with moments when I realise again that I love her - even those days when I neither see her nor speak to her.

I take it that you realize again that you love her and appreciate her. Ha by the time that she awakes you're already 'there for her' (my words) with a good morning. A nice psychological poem about your relationship in the morning. In other words you share your mental process in bed. I love the ending when you kiss her brow.

Re: Okay, lionreign...

I tend to get a little carried away when speaking of her...  as you might have gathered, I like her quite a lot

Re:
Thank you NiteTide

As for inspiration, I have an advantage - a muse who's smile is more radiant than the fullest moon, and who's eyes contain a sunny spring morn. One who's quicksilver mind and oaken wisdom enchant and challenge, one who is not angel or devil, but more the chaotic fey, full of heartbreaking compassion or sudden caprice. One muse so complicated and so fascinating that I could study her for years and know no more than a finger nail's worth, and one for whom I would create galaxies of rhyme just to divert and entertain. She is my creative North and the font of my most crystal visions.

With such a muse anyone could write at least as well as I, as my poor words are just a dulled reflection of the rainbowed light I see in her.

So, lionreign, where does your inspiration come from to make such wonderful poetry, hm?  Because your words are always strong enough to make a person reach out and speak.  Whether through heart break, or heart-healing, you have a way with words...This poem was so very sweet that it was just a wonderful start to my morning.  Thanks!
