Re: You've got a recliner and a treadmill
LOL Smitten! After all the work I went through to get that recliner, you'll have to fight me for it.
Thanks for reading, and for the great picture!

Re: Hmmmm..........
Holly, quite a few I think. I looked through some classified ads before hitting the retail shops, and there were pages and pages of exercise equipment in "brand new condition". Being a bit of a princess, I ultimately decided I didn't want a bike where someone else's butt had already been.
Thanks for reading

Re:
Thanks Nite, I'm glad you liked it! I was really just parroting the message though--I wish I had that much "wisdom" without the help of TV programs!

Re: Fabulous post Sira...
LOL ginnie! Wouldn't it be wonderful, if cookies contained some miracle weight loss ingredient!
The show is played on the Woman's Network here (big surprise...), and well worth a watch, at least once.

Re: Sira890,
Glenn, I will stay with it--being healthy is a gift I'm giving myself!
I'm sorry you enjoyed your visit!(?). I'll write something really awful for my next post! Maybe about sea urchins--I don't know anything about them, so I'm quite sure anything I write on the subject would be total garbage.

Fabulous post Sira...
...and fabulous message! I too am in that middle range I think and always hoping to shed about 5 lbs. It's probably very silly, especially at my advanced age
but I keep hoping that I'll wake up, hop on the scales, and miraculously, the weight will have vanished...despite the fact I might have eaten several (make that many) cookies that day. I did lose 3 lbs in the past month since my surgery and that helps but those wobbly bits...and I love that term...remain. I'll have to find that show! Wobbly Women Unite!

Sira
Ah yes! We men like the wobbly bits! There are all kinds of good eveolutionary reasons for that, having to do with walking upright, but I got no time for the details...And the main reason for working out is not getting a 'perfect' body, but being
healthy...
