Thank you for the comment. Yes it is better that I heard it from him and he was honest. He is a great person and I still admire him a great deal probably more so because he was so honest with me.
Honesty sometimes hurts but over time you appreciate it.

when is it not personal? Seriously.. it's like when someone says "not to be blunt" and then goes and rips into ya. Starting off that way doesn't make it not BLUNT.

oh my dear, i am sorry...
sometimes getting too personal with people we meet online often leads to painful ending dear. They are not often times what they seem to be or what you perceived them to be. One thing you should be thankful for is that til the end, he remained honest with you. Hearing it straight from him i believe is painful, but a lot less painful than finding it out from somewhere else. But sorry to hear your pain dear...
