Me too, winged
I used to read all the strips you mentioned, and a great many more. The "funny pages" were one of the highlights of the days of my misspent youth. Only I didn't consider it misspent then, and I still don't. I've been having a ball catching up with some of the old strips I hadn't read in years. Next time out I'll give everyone a couple of links to both old and new comic strips.

My favorites were Archie, Vernoica and Betty.
You all remember Betty, the good girl, right?
and I remember Annie and her huge ball of hair.
She's still played on Broadway, would like to
see her there.
All gifts. Who remembers
Dagwood and Blondie? I guess you can see
how I spent my time in my youth.

I remember "Josie and the Pussycats" being a Saturday morning TV show, I think. The only Veronica I remember well is from the old "Archie" comic strips and comic books, which I enjoyed immensely. I have a great fondness for anything that brings back memories of a time when missing a favorite TV show or comic strip was one of the worst things that could happen to you.
