auslander, welcome back..it's a shame some of the old historic cities
have been left to rot...I would love to see Vienna if ever able to get over there....

So you found a home away from home in Germany, did you? I too would like to hear more about Vienna - I have never been, but it's on my agenda, down the road sometime...

Welcome back home! I know exactly how you felt on the cruise! I once went from Hamburg to Toronto, because I felt the urge to see icebergs. I did, but I walked off in despair in Quebec because there was absolutely nobody to talk to, nothing but zimmerframes, no teeth and bitching about - of all things- the food! I look forward to your report on Vienna.
