Well, now you've gone and done, northsage.

Getting noticed isn't too difficult. Just say something intelligent and every nutcase revisionist, regressionist, protectionist, and isolationist with a high school diploma and third grade mentality will start screaming at you that you're unpatriotic, anti-this, pro-that, a scourge, slimeball, pinhead, godless liberal, etc., etc. If you want to stay unnoticed, just write about things that really matter. Like John McCain's economic policies or Barack Obama's foreign policies or whether or not the government should have bailed out Stearns but left thousands of taxpayers high-and-dry to lose their homes...

They bail out the rich, cheugon, while the Democrats bail out the poor.
Now, tell me, what's wrong with that equation...

Conservatives and control
I think that conservatives, (Republicans) are like organized religion. They both are devoted to controlling our behavior, thoughts and wallets. They try to do this with threats of excommunication, incarceration, peer pressure and coersion, (reasoning doesn't work, they are unarmed). I am happy to say that I am immune to everything they try, with the exception of incarceration, over which nobody has any control, but them. One of my favorite things that I say to others is, "I'm just trying to get through life unnoticed!" So far, I have gone largely unnoticed by my fellow bloggers, but actually I was hoping to go unnoticed by the rulemakers and lawmakers! Whatta ya gonna DO? Sigh!

I wrote a post a while back...
...dealing with the hypocrisy of the Republican message.
I hate how they claim to be against big government, and then they use government to dole out corporate welfare, bail-out insolvent companies and like you said, make unjust laws regulating personal choices.
Good job.

I don't know about Zakheim, soul builder, but I do know that Joseph
Stiglitz has estimated that the true cost of the Iraq War is upwards of three trillion dollars...

The deception is enormous! Was it 3 trillion dollars unaccounted for by Dov Zakheim? He was allowed to walk away with nary an explanation! The Zionists are bleeding this country dry!
