This is a fantastic poem. It gave a feel for an epyllion. You are masterful with quatrains as well. I enjoyed the rhyme scheme and it gave much impetus to the cadence! Right on! Bravo!  sam

This was quite intriguing!!  I felt like the son should have fought for the throne though...LOL, my silly little romantical thoughts at play!  Excellent poem as usual!!
