Re: I laughed out loud at the last stanza
Thank you. I am glad that you found the last stanza humorous. I really enjoyed writing the poem, and I especially enjoyed writing the ending. I hope that your buddy's child enjoys the poem as well.

I laughed out loud at the last stanza
this is good enough that I will print it out to read to my buddy's child.

Re: LMAO ... this is quite the variation.. and I see you saved the best
Thank you so much. I tried to keep the poem in a form true to a children's nursery rhyme, hence the repetitive sequences in the poem. I did have an alternative ending to the poem;
Vowed from this day ever more,
To stay away from piggies door.
I really liked the ending that I chose to post. I just had to have the wolf swear off pork. I hope that you liked my chosen ending as much as I did.

LMAO ... this is quite the variation.. and I see you saved the best
for last ...
The next day walking in defeat,
The wolf thinking of what to eat,
Felt like one big hairy dork,
And vowed that day to swear off pork. Awesome write!

Re: NiteTide
Thanks Mindy. I am glad that you loved it. I worked hard on these little piggies, and like the wolf, I feel like I need to swear off pork for awhile. I had piggies on the brain all last night. I would love to see your piggy poem. I agree, the two of them would be a piggerific pair.

Ah.....The Three Little Pigs completely in poetry form!! I loved it!!!! And you don't have to worry about mine, I had planned to write about the rhyme and not the story, so between the two of us we'll have an awesomely, piggerific pair of poems from two different originals!
