Re:
Thank you sam. I'm happy you like my "interpretation" of the lion poem. As for the bikes, nop, we did not get another ride: it has been raining since Friday and I am not too keen on breaking a leg just before leaving!LOL
You've given me a good idea, though. I might try to rent one in Heidelberg. Just for a last little ride along the river before flying home...

Re: Auslander
Hi Troosha! we are returning to West Québec-Ottawa. Not too too exhiting a place, but it does have its own charm with the mountains and the rivers (the Outaouais and the Gatineau, among others).

Sweet sorrows! Did you get a final ride in! Do they rent bikes, not the same but you could still get a ride in!
I adored your thoughts on the lion poem. When I publish I give it to my reader and it is all theirs! I like to see how it affects people and I loved yours. It fit so aptly! It gave the poem another dimension! sam

Re: Auslander
Hi Naut. Yes, I will continue with the web-site; I'm barely starting with what I call the interesting stuff (travel, outdoor activities, events...).
As for the name "Auslander" you have a good point. Can I be an Auslander in my own country? Probably. In the sense (meaning) that I changed but the rest of the people around have not....
Thanks for reading. I certainly enjoy your blogs.

Auslander
I have just caught up with all your latest posts (I've been very busy and distracted and haven't spent much time in Blogitville at all), and it had occurred to me that this might be turning into a somewhat traumatic good-bye for you - and you confirm that here! Interesting! Also: what will your 'handle' be once you're back home? Will you continue to call yourself 'Auslander'? And will you keep up your website on Germany? I certainly hope you will...
