lol. Yes, I remember being shown that little doo-hickey on the door frame. My german brother in law showed it to me a couple years after I moved to germany.
It sounds like you had a good experience in Germany, but i'm sure it's also good to be home again.

I'm trying to figure out what a 'naturalized' pool looks like. Like a village pond? With frogs and weeds and muddy bottoms? We used to swim in those as kids...But I certainly like the idea of a Biergarten...
