Mal,
I am relieved to know that someone else has been afflicted with the compulsion to try to rationalize why one could possibly lose readership, while maintaining the highest level of writing quality, which one is capable of producing. I know a guy who is like that.
It is a good thing that we talented writers are so secure in our own respective abilities, that we don't fret over such mundane, plebian matters! SOB!

Mal, You really ARE busy.........I have a feeling many of us take a break from blogging during the summer months..........hopefully, we'll all be back full force come September. I know I will.
