I too love the smell of pine..At christmas time both my mother and I search endless places till we find either a candle that smells close or we bring home a live tree...LOL..Thank you for the great comments!

I am a mutt too, though..Having done genealogy now for the last few years..I have found that I have a few more things then I originally thought I had..Like Prussian, German, Welsh and Irish..Along with Lakota and Cherokee...So, what I have been doing in my spare time now is reading about all of them..that way I can see what things in my life are connected to those ideas..My daughter has even more of a mixture then me...You must add Yahqi, Aztec, and Spanish to the list that I already gave...Having a mixture just makes us more unique.

Wow Marion... what a fantastic poem. I am so jealous, you have such a strong sense of belonging to your people while here I am a mutt... made out of bits and pieces of so many different cultures. It must be beautiful to feel so connected to the past and to your ancestors. I am so proud to know you.
