WoW! I really love the blue flower...I hadn't seen one like it before. Nice work.. It seems to be the case that so much lovely stuff goes unrewarded. I read so many wonderful blogs here that don't have any feedback on them at all.....

don't be fashin' yersel' over the camera... Start by just taking pictures with whatever you can get your hands on! I know for a certain fact you can get some great pictures from single-use cameras, even off-brand ones! Every camera I have had has been great for some pictures, but limited in some other ways. It's still the case... would love to have more zoom, would love to be able to get a wider angle... On the other hand, I want to be able to hike with it, and not be burdened by several pounds of equipment.
Of course, you have to carry it all, all the time, or discover you can't take the shot that opportunity presents because you thought you'd only want one or the other on an outing. My son-in-law has gotten himself a nice outfit, SLR digital and has several long specialty lenses, but was frustrated as all get out on a recent trip, for these exact reasons!

I am just catching up here - and I am glad I did! Gorgeous pictures! I haven't had time yet for getting myself a 'proper' camera (can't rush into these things, especially if you don't know what you're doing, lol), but I will soon! You continue to be an inspiration...

It is pretty good size! It is held at the fairgrounds in the city, gotta love the West, but they have severely out grown it! Our town is 180,000! The race track is there too! sam
