different from the particular set of atheists that you are talking about, if you sort of generalise and project the articulations of SOME atheists as those of all.

I apologize for not being able to read any of you!Work has me giddy and tired! I am glad some of you either saw some truth in this post or found it helpful in working out your own philosophical location. Either way, we have to see WHAT IS by our own looking and not pre-empting looking because of some bit of programming...imbibed because it sounded right! We must look, then return to those who think we should not! I am forced to be away from BLOGIT until I can restore my internet connection etc. This also earns me a rest! The prime function of social power
is it's own perpetuation and increase. The joy of democracy is only that many members of the ruling elite are pitted against each other, which to a great degree neutralises them. I do not know (or especially care) if there is a formal conspiracy because by our very social definition there is a cultural conspiracy which encompasses every unthinking member of society for the purpose of keeping everybody in their place, and power in the hands of the powerful.
I neither believe nor disbelieve in God, although I seek my own enlightenment and personal growth at every opportunity. If the prime qualification for an afterlife is belief then I will gladly accept oblivion, because I feel nothing either way on this topic and I will not demean myself or a faith with lip service.

be it now tomorrow or twenty years from now, there will come a time when your main concern will be one thing, defending your own home from intruders trying to steal food from your garden or pantry. The question I have for most people is this, are you ready.
