Very well expressed my friend
it is so true that people rush in to misjudge others, sometimes we are most pleasantly surprised by today's youth!  Thank you and God bless

I like that, Harderup.  There really are a lot of good kids around everywhere.  We just are more prone to notice the bad ones.

Youth of Today

Great poem.  I do hope and wish that more of today's youth would be like the ones in your poem.  We can only pray.

Great poem Harderup ...
... puts thoughts into the youth problems that devastate many of the streets today, at least here in London - but ... it's not right to judge everyone because of a few. Your instinct for protection is important -  - genio

Sweet
sweet poem ... and you are right...kids are kids now, before always... when they are born they are like a blank canvas... the world writes on that canvas what they will become,  its not their fault.

Nice comment on this scene. Opens the mind to a more poitive conception of youth. I think we need that.

Harderup...

Thank you for writing this poem and sharing it with me.  I can relate to the little boy you describe.

Ahhh... but unfortunately there's the flip side of the coin.  A charming, poignant piece.
