Thanks naut. I think I'll just "give" the car to my Mann, as he has a driving licence from Ontario and can register the car there.

I recently sold my beloved '95 SHO for that very same reason - an intermittent electrical glitch, which was becoming too annoying and would have cost at least 1000 bucks just to analyze, let alone fix! I had not been driving the car much any more, and had been toying with the idea of a complete restoration, until I realized it was a pipe dream, especially in view of my rather limited skills as a mechanic, and since the car was taking up space and forcing me to think of buying a bigger house with a three-car garage...
But I certainly hope you get your problem sorted out. And if they won't do it in La Belle Province, have it done in Ontario...

sam for that gold medal! Canada is still waiting for its first medal. As for riding the Giant, I won't be able to ride it along the road here to go to town: the major road that go to the city is a highway. See my next entry for more details....LOL

Vehicles are such a pain when the little things go wrong! That has to be very frustrating to be used to mass transit and then have none! Say, Kristen Armstrong from my town got the gold in cycling! We are so stoked as a community! I suppose you will have to spend more time on your GIANT once it arrives! Sorry about the vehicle mess! sam
