Hmm
My sister left her cell phone on, accidentally, and the battery was about dead by the time she reached her destination. She was told by SOMEONE in the know, that happened because her phone was constantly roaming and working, even though she didn't know it. Makes sense to me! I was chuckling at your FA quips. Try those Turkish broa... I mean FAs! Marine drill sergeants would be more like it! What bee-otch-ezzz!

Southwest is my airline of choice
They really are the most people-friendly airline I have ever flown with, still harboring the notion that happy customers are better for them than resentful, frustrated, offended ones.

I just flew on Northwest
They do not turn off the fasten seatbelt signs as they think we should keep the seatbelts on at all times. It took me an hour to figure out I could get up and go to the bathroom.
What is the deal with things like Ipods etc.. during take off?
