Whacky, I feel your pain.
And how about the 20 minute long "instructions" when trying to leave a voice mail message on someone's cell phone? Do I need ALL those instructions? Do I need to be told to HANG UP when I am finished? "For more options, press 5." More options? Do they have a pizza delivery service or something? Or is there an option that has some kind of a hammer that comes out of the recipiants phone to bang them on the noggin to alert them they have a message? GEEZ!!

I work for the phone company and anything that goes wrong in a person's life we have to hear about it even if they meant to call the cable company, but thats not my voice, even though I am getting old and scratchy

Whacky, I don't like much of anything about the telephone except to know it is there for emergency. It is not my favorite way to keep in contact with anyone, and Lord have mercy if they need something fixed, or want to make a complaint, or order their prescription refilled.
